02 / HOW TO MAKE IT

Let's cook.

01

Soak the Almonds

Start by soaking the almonds in 2 cups of water with a pinch of salt. Let them sit for at least 8 hours or overnight. Once they’re soaked, drain and rinse the almonds a couple of times.

02

Blend Almonds and Water

Next, toss the drained almonds into a blender with 2 cups of fresh water and blend until completely smooth, which should take about 2 minutes. Pour this almond mixture into a large bowl.

03

Preheat and Grease Dish

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 11x15-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

04

Combine Dry Ingredients

Now, mix in the flour, chocolate chips, olive oil, chia seeds, honey, powdered peanut butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and 2 teaspoons of salt into the almond mixture. Stir everything together until it forms an even dough.

05

Spread Dough Evenly

Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula or fork.

06

Bake Until Golden

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until the bars are set and have a nice golden color around the edges. Let them cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into bars and enjoying.
